It has adjustable leather straps and a cinching leather top to secure your goods but still allow you convenient access. Handmade by skilled artisans and woven from an all-natural, plant-dyed cactus fiber and high-quality, vegetable-tanned leather.

Every Minga bag has been ethically sourced for a mutually agreed upon, fair trade price and provides work to our artisan partners, a collaborative group of 18 women living in a remote region of Ecuador.

Our bags are handmade and one-of-a-kind. This means that no two are exactly alike and almost all contain irregularities from size to styles to color. Please allow for slight imperfections as this is what adds to the unique character of each bag.

CARE

Due to the leather's natural finish, each hide will keep its distinctive features, such as veins and pores. Please allow the leather time to naturally wear and soften over time.

Cabuya, the natural plant fiber we use for our bags, is plant dyed and spun by hand. Cabuya is a very strong and durable fiber, and it also softens and its character deepens with wear.

If you end up with a spot or stain on your bag, gently rub the spot with a damp white towel using a gentle, natural soap. It is important to understand that natural, plant-dyed fibers should be washed by hand in cold water and limited chemicals. Given it’s all-natural makeup, using harsh detergents or machine washing your bag will result in color fade. Hang or sit out to dry.
